A magical experience

Pietro is a friendly, open-minded photographer, and my partner and I fully recommend him if you want stunning photographs at Venice! During the shoot we felt at ease and it was a great experience of which we were very satisfied with the results. In addition to the shoot, Pietro explained many parts of the city that you would not experience as a typical tourist; giving us a tour of what it is like to experience Venice as a local. Overall, the shoot brought about many magical moments and was the best part of our vacation. Pietro is very professional and speaks great English, we would recommend him fully. Pietro est amical et ouvert d’esprit. Si vous voulez de belles photos, mon partenaire et moi vous le recommendons. Pendant la session photo, nous etions relaxes. Nous sommes tres satisfaits des resultats. Pendant le photoshoot, Pietro nous a appris beaucoup choses sur Venise. La session photo etait un des meilleurs et moments magicaux de nos vacances. Pietro est un photographe tres professionel. Il parle tres bien anglais. Nous vous le recommendons a 100%.

An Amazing Tour and Amazing Photos

Our walk with Pietro was one of the high points of our trip, if not the high point. Walking through Venice with him was amazing. All of the different little details he shared with us. When my husband explained how intrigued he was by all the graffiti we were seeing Pietro made a point of taking us to see some interesting ones including a Banksy! My husband was ecstatic. But not only did we get an interesting tour of the city from a different perspective we also got an amazing set of pictures. You should totally book time with him if you have the chance.

A fantastic day

My wife and I recently had a photo workshop in Venice with Pietro and I have to say that it was a fantastic experience. Pietro has not only a tremendous knowledge of photography but he also has a great teaching style and he knows many hidden gems and ‘out of the way’ places in Venice.

Pietro was very enthusiastic and encouraging and went out of his way to not only teach us about photography but also taught us a lot about Venice and it’s rich history. There was a perfect end to the day with a tremendous sunset and Pietro stayed with us throughout giving more teaching and tips as to how to get great images.

We learned a tremendous amount during the day and we really enjoyed ourselves in the process.

Thank you very much Pietro for such a brilliant day. We will be back!

More than a photo tour

The photo tour with Pietro was a real gem on me and my wife trip. We had a very pleasant afternoon walking on calm spots of Venice and having a good conversation. It simply didn't feel that we were there for photos.
We can't recommend more this tour. In the end of the day we had a couple hundred photos of very nice quality counting two versions, color and b&w.

Memorable honeymoon photo shoot in Venice by Pietro

We wanted our honeymoon in Venice to be the most memorable time so we decided that the best way to capture this was to hire a local professional photographer. We came across his webpage through google and immediately impressed with his work portfolios (very talented, good reviews, beautiful pictures offering at a reasonable price) and felt that he was the best photographer in Venice for us and made contact with him via email. Rest assured he replied to our email enquiry promptly and we were delighted that he was able to accomodate to our requests and kind enough to give us some tips for our photoshoot. During the day of our photoshoot, we were pleased to meet him at the exact time and place specified. He was very polite, friendly and easy to talk to, he can speak English fluently too. He made sure we were very comfortable and to be ourselves during the photoshoot. He showed us how beautiful the city of Venice is, took us on the famous gondola ride and took great care of us (I was wearing heels at the time and he was kind enough to walk slowly at my pace then and took care of our jackets when we're not wearing them during the photoshoot). Most importantly, we were beyond ecstatic to received the beautiful pictures he captured within days after the photoshoot. There's no doubt Pietro Valpato is the best photographer in Venice. Amazing engagement photo shoot in Venice!

I can't say enough great things about Pietro! Me and my fiancé were researching engagement photos in Venice and all the photo shoots were ridiculously priced then we found Pietro and figured a 3 hour photo shoot for 300 photos for 300 euros sounded worth it and boy was that an understatement. Pietro was FABULOUS! All of my friends can't get over the photos, they look like they belong in a magazine. I am SO happy with the pictures, they exceeded my expectations and I can be a bit picky about what I like!

We went right before New Years so it was a bit crowded but Pietro made it look like we had Venice all to ourselves! He takes great pride in his work and it definitely shows. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and a joy to be with. I highly recommend a photo shoot with Pietro, it was so much fun and the pictures are drop dead gorgeous!

Experience of a lifetime

I was searching for the best photographer for our wedding photo shoot. We are from Greece and we had never been to Venice before. My quest wasn't easy. The options were too many. I preferred Pietro because he seemed very professionally "strict" and his bio was excellent. I was very pleased with my experience. Pietro is a truly remarkable photographer. He managed to find the perfect locations and he was very friendly. Good job Pietro! You are the best. We had a great time and we really thank you for your time, your behavior, your professionalism and your immediate response to all our needs and wants. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PIETRO!

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

Best part of visiting Venice was our Photoshoot with Pietro. I can’t thank you enough for making the decision of doing the Photoshoot the best decision EVER. Pietro not only delivered the most beautiful images, but took us on an intimate tour into the real Venice. I can’t put into words how happy we are with our pictures, but most of all, the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person. Pietro made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I have come home showing my pictures to all my family and friends and they are all in love! Pietro thank you so much!

Amazing experience

A professional and talented photographer. Pietro not only took amazing photos with just natural sunlight but also took us around Venice. The photos he took were vibrant in colour with amazing contrast and composition. We definitely enjoyed the photo shoot and will recommend it to our friends.
