Venice Sightseeing Walking Tour with a Local Guide

325 reviews
Packed to the rafters with sights, Venice is a city where time passes fast. Don't waste a second getting lost amid bridges and crowds and instead explore with a guide to discover the highlights and history in minimal time. See the Rialto Bridge and gems, such as the Basilica of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, where many Venetian doges were laid to rest. Choose from a 15-person small-group tour or a private option.

We were watching him make a mask in the window and he invited us inside in a funny way so we went. Real masks here made on site not in China. He taught us how the masks are made and the story begins some of the styles. He showed us the molds they use etc. It was great fun. He dated and signed the mask we purchased. A real one of kind work of art. Glad we stumbled onto this shop. You’ll be glad you did too.

The store is small and charming and has fantastic real handmade masks 🎭. We’ve been visiting Venezia for five days and this was the store with the most beautiful and affordable venezian masks we’ve found. Thank you for your help and your smile 😊. We take a lovely and signed by the artist mask back to home.

We bought a Mask from this store and was extreamly happy with the service. Made sure the mask was packaged well so it would be safe when travelling in suitcases. The owner explained the history of the Masks which was very interesting. Most of the Masks are made by himself and his wife. Advised us what the difference is between Hand made and mass produced masks. It was not that much more for a genuine paper mashai hand made mask. Would recommend this store.

As we were wanderig trough the less crowded places in Venice, we discoverd this place. I was looking to buy an authentic masker for quite Some time, but its not easy to find between all the Chinese garbage. So glad we found this place! Gianmarco is really friendly and helpfunctie. He is an artist that passionated about his work! He helped me to find a masker that matches my eyes and gave advice how to hang it on the wall and how to clean it. He also wrapped it profesionnaly so it makes it through the flight! He signed it with his and his wife’s name, so it is a Unique souvenir from Venice now. If I come to Venice again I Will visit this place again!
