Paddle your own kayak in the canals of Venice on a 45-minute private guided tour of the city's waterways. Adventure-seeking travelers appreciate the alternative to being steered in a gondola. Get a little exercise while enjoying a different perspective of the historic canals away from the crowds in the center of the city. Chose from a pedal- or oar-powered kayak. No kayaking experience is necessary; instruction is included.

Discover Venice by water—but skip the overcrowded gondola experience—when you embark on a private kayaking tour of the city’s waterways. Choose from a number of departure times throughout the day, and meet your guide in the center of town. After a quick lesson, you’ll set off and discover the city’s key landmarks, like the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge, and Marco Polo’s House, as well as the neighborhoods that most tourists miss.

An eternally popular city, Venice can get crowded. Escape the crowds and enjoy a trip off the beaten path on this kayak tour to the island of Murano. After paddling through Venice's hidden canals and across the lagoon, learn about Murano's glass-making heritage and watch a glass-blower at work.

What an amazing experience! For anyone who likes kayaking this is perfect. Our guide was great, knowledgeable, and friendly. She kept us safe from motorboats and angry gondoliers. It’s a perfect way to see Venice! Just go do it!!

In contrast to the other reviewers' great experiences, mine has been quite the opposite. I booked the Grand Canal tour 2+ months in advance. 10 days before the tour, I was browsing the website and saw that the Grand Canal tour was listed as "Suspended"...More

The highlight of our trip for me is definitely kayaking. We went for 5pm and kayaked for 1 and a half hours around the canals. Myself and boyfriend had beginners/minimal experience so we shared a kayak with two seats which helped massively. The two boys...More

A recent ordinance bans kayaking in the city of venice. I would recommend you go with venicekayak. Check their website. They know what areas can be safely visited.
