Nice place to visit on a sunny day. Went for a swim at the beach which was really warm. Heaps of places to dine if you are hungry. Easy enough to reach by vaporetto.

If you have a free day you can spend it at Lido, this is a beautiful area with a simple but beautiful beach with warm water. There are many nice restaurants in the area. A beautiful place to spend an extra day.

So sorry - only just seen this question! Hope you found somewhere open...gets pretty deserted this time of year though I imagine the Hotel Excelsior Blue Bar may still be open.
