How is this rated #20 in shopping in Venice. Taxi ride to island was nice and demo was neat. After that not so much. On the way to the showroom to show you their over priced items they show you a wall full of boxes...More

We're not particularly glass fans - but found the tour interesting. We were treated to the glass master making a vase & horse figurine. The best part of this tour was that there was no 'hard-sell'. You can use your ACTV tickets to get to...More

It was neat to see a demonstration of glass blowing. The guy really does make a horse out of piece of glass. You don't have to buy anything here. In fact, we did buy a horse for out daughter as a souvenir since this is...More

We were brought here on a tour. Our group was hustled into a room that was all about selling and nothing about the factory. My husband and I slipped away and tried to find an exit. We walked past room after room after room set...More

The tour was rushed but interesting. Make sure you take water or wet wipes as it is very hot inside. I was followed around the shop by a lady who gave me the hard sell. Every time I stopped to look at a piece, she...More

A wonderful experience to see how glass blowing is done and to see how a horse is sculptured from a lump of glass. Would recommend it to all. After we had the opportunity to purchase our own pieces to take home.

It's amazing to see how the glass is made - real artists they are. Well worth the trip. Also, it's warm in there when it's cold outside!

Hi guys First time to travelling Europe. Can you let me know the tour company you booked the glass factory tour ? There is so many mix reviews I don't know what to choose and I gathered from the reviews that the glass demonstrations only happens when you join a tour . Thanks Ishara

We were part of a tour group set up by Globus, a company that does tours in many nations. Our tour started in Amsterdam and ended in Paris and the Murano Glass tour in Venice was arranged by Globus.

We were there in May of 2015, visited a little glass shop that was owned by a husband and wife, he was blowing glass right in the little shop. Its not to far off the square. Any idea the name of the shop? Thanks
