Venice Sightseeing Walking Tour with a Local Guide

325 reviews
Packed to the rafters with sights, Venice is a city where time passes fast. Don't waste a second getting lost amid bridges and crowds and instead explore with a guide to discover the highlights and history in minimal time. See the Rialto Bridge and gems, such as the Basilica of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, where many Venetian doges were laid to rest. Choose from a 15-person small-group tour or a private option.

My husband, who loves photography, and I went to Italy on our honeymoon. Atelier flavia gave us the best souvenir we could ask for - a Carnival themed photoshoot. The owner and her son were extremely accommodating and helpful. The owner was able to take a single look at me, know my size, and find a costune that would fit. We rented the costume for an hour, and the owner's son toured us around to nearby locations for photos. My husband took so many amazing photos of me. It was priceless. I also bought the gorgeous green velvet mask pictured below. It was reasonably priced and exquisitely made.

I have the most wonderful experience, very very nice store :) Family-owned business that custom creates period costumes for Venice Carnivale. At the time I paid 50 Euro for a 1 hour rental to be dressed in the costume that I chose to take my own pictures in.. this was a must do for me while I was visiting Venice Italy! They speak broken english but we were able to communicate. My GPS took me a little wonky so make sure you do have plenty of time to find the place. I am so happy I did this. I'm only posting one picture, even though I have tons! They do also offer professional photography for an additional charge. They will also make and sell costumes. You choose your era. Excellent Quality!!! Highly Recommend :)

I visited this store a little under a month ago when I was in Venice. The staff were absolutely lovely and told me and my friends so much about the history of the masks and Venice as a whole, and about their experience in making the costumes and masks. I would definitely recommend stopping into this store and having a chat to anyone working. They were very welcoming and spoke great english!

It was. Bucket list event to go to Venice and take photos in costume. The staff here were attentive, and friendly. The costumes were really beautifully made and we all had a blast walking the streets in full dress!
