I wouldn't got on long rides on this but a short ride around the grand canal is a must, this is a must in Venice the Gondola ride and expensive.

There is no need to book in advance as there are a lot of options to choose from when you get there Agencies & tours won’t budge but if you approach gondola riders personally they will be ready to negotiate. It worth a shot... More
