The museum is in a beautiful villa giving the collection Venetian ambiance. It isn't a large collection and easily viewed in 1-2 hours. Of interest, there is a very impressive Asian armory collection on the top floor as well. When many of the other Venetian...More

This collection was a wonderful surprise of modern art. If you love modern art this collection is almost as good as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Almost but not quite. Rodin's thicker sculpture, Klimt's Judith, Moore sculptures. Alexander Calder mobile. The best kept secret in Venice...More

This is a beautiful Palace right on the Grand Canal. I walked from the Piazalle do Roma bus and train station and it challenged my map-reading skills but it was fun and well worth the effort. It is located on Fondamenta Ca' Pesaro, near the...More

Saved this museum until after the Guggenheim. It may make sense to visit oft first for chronological reference. Some exceptional pieces and a collection that doesn't seem overly visited. Includes works by Klimt, Chagall and Italian impressionist. Monumental palace beautifully renovated.

This is, to me at least, by far the better of the "Ca"s included in the museum pass and the art gallery in the first floor makes the visit worth it. Whereas I found the modern art pieces in the second floor mostly boring even...More

I spent nearly 2 hours in here enjoying the two floors of Modern and Contemporary Italian and other art. There is on display a good mix. I saw Rodin,Lichtenstein, Troop and a host of Italian artists too. It was interesting how they reflected the Art...More

My daughter and I visited using the Venezia Unica pass. We loved the permanent collections, but were less impressed with the visiting collection. While we went primarily for the modern and contemporary art, we thoroughly enjoyed the Oriental Art component of the museum -- it...More

The museum was great, but we only had a half an hour to see everything as the museum was closing early for an event. I felt the ticket agent could have given us a break for the admission, but we ended up paying the full...More

I have to admit that I am more interested in the architecture, and the interior decor of the buildings that I visit more than the art work. However, this museum has a very interesting collection for the modern art enthusiasts to see.

This is a small gallery situated on the Grand canal, it houses a good selection of art and is well worth a visit. Good value if you use a museum pass. It's easy walking distance from the Piazzale Roma (all buses stop there).

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
