This was a great way to get to the airport at 6 am . We took it from the Rialto Bridge stop and it took us by water taxi to the airport for 15 Euro.

There was light rain so the hotel suggested the public water bus taxi. It took an hour for what would of been a 20 min walk easy 1 mile walk. Spent 40$ euros for a day pass and won’t use it again. Unless you physically...More

Wanted to visit the islands around Venice today but there was no public transport due to a national strike. Luckily I find this company. Had a great day. Over 4 hours to see Burano, Murano & Torcello. Absolutely beautiful. Stayed approximately 50 minutes on each...More

It is ok for the price. I was afraid that we would have problems on the direction from Arsenale to the airport (no getting on board due to too much people), but It was not problem at all; Probably because this was during low season...More

The Alilaguna Murano, Burano & Torcello Guided Line tour that we went on was a great way to see these islands in the lagoon. Each one is unique and beautiful. The tour guide was organized, informative and 9impressively multilingual.

The Transport serve service is actually quite convenient and provides of wide variety of options for transportation throughout Venice. While there are dedicated water taxis to Venice from the various islands like Lido which might be overpriced at €7.50 each Way even if it's just...More

We took the water taxi to the airport from the cruise port and I would recommend this if you have enough time. Give at least 2 hours to get to the airport from the cruise port but I would say this is the best way...More

At E25 return this is a cheap efficient service by boat to select locations in Venice. Much cheaper than water taxis but not as quick. About 15 minutes walk on flat escalators from the airport terminal to the jetties. The boat driver loads you suitcase/s...More

Purposely chose a crossing time from M. dell Orto to allow for two boats to get us back to the airport. Both were full by the time they came to our stop, making it quite a stressful experience. There wasn't any information to help us...More

Santa Croce
Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district)
when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring
cars and buses close to the center of Venice.
Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking
Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes
with energy from travelers and students. Historic
palaces and former industrial buildings house some
departments of Ca' Foscari and IUAV Architecture

Not sure how much an individual taxi cost exactly but certainly a lot more than the 15 € the Public transport cost per person. A taxi might get you there 15 mins quicker but what's the rush if you are on holiday ;O)
