Amazing artwork tastefully displayed in Peggy Guggenheim's former home. I was particularly impressed with the Calder bedhead and mobiles seen in the rooms for which they were made. The view over the Grand Canal was great too!

Some people do not even know that Peggy lived for so many years in Venice and miss one of the most beautiful places and works of art.- We were there at Easter and found it just amazing to see how deeply she was in love...More

A must for any art lover, full of many of my favourite works. The audio guide was well worth the money, providing interesting background information on many of the exhibits. I wish it was nearerchome so I could go again.

If you like modern art, this is the best collection in Italy and is world class. Calder, Miro, Ernst, Warhol, Pollack, Kandinsky, Picasso, and more are represented in this mini palazzo by the Grand Canal.

This is Peggy Guggenheims former home and has a very interesting collection of masterpieces. There is a nice sculpture garden and a gorgeous view onto the Canale Grande. Definitely one of the highlights of Venice.

Unless you really love modern art (and Jackson Pollock) spend your time viewing the classical Venetian art of the Doge's Palace or Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peggy's palazzo. I feel like I learned so much about her through her art. She was truly a visioary. She had such an eye for excellence. One of my top 5 experiences in Venice.

A must see Gallery/home, some wonderful Art set in her own home, and grounds (where she and her dogs are buried) A truly enjoyable time had looking at Jackson Pollock art as well. Peggy Guggenheim was ahead of her time. Beware...closed on Tuesdays.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob
