My husband and I stopped in here on a Sunday morning, slightly worried it would be full of people on an embrella guided tour. We were pleasantly surprised it was full of Italians have the same nibbles and drinks we were. The wait staff was...More

My husband told me if I visit Venice, I must visit Harry’s Bar. At the entrance , you can’t really predict much as it just looks like a white color bar. Once we enter, it did look like 1930’s high end cozy restaurant. It is...More

In the end it is the place where the Bellini was created, the atmosphere of the place is AMAZING, but it tends to get really crowded by dinner time. I would definitely recommend stopping by and get a place by the bar to order 2...More

For my wife and me, a trip to Harry's bar is a must when visiting Venice. It's the kind of place that you go for the experience. If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford the prices (get ready for $50 for a...More

Overpriced-yes, Overrated-yes, BUT... you have to go. Its is an iconic spot on the Italian grand tour. The waiters in white tux and the drinks outrageously expensive but oh to say I've been to Harry's. They could not have been more attentive and the afternoon...More

Went for a drink with the Fiancé for her Birthday. Sat at a pokey, dated bar (even if it’s the theme, it still requires a lot of TLC). Ordered a whiskey sour and a Bellini which both were served in tiny glasses and the cost????...More

This is the 3rd time we've had lunch in Harry's Bar and we were both disappointed with the whole experience. We were given a table in the middle of the room which was basically crammed in and in a constant walkway. People and waiters were...More

It was our third visit to Harry's but our friends wanted to experience it for their first time. Yes it's small, hot, crowded & exorbitantly expensive but, like the gondola rides, iconic. And as they say: If you have to ask the price you can't...More

After reading many of the reviews on here I was considering giving Harry's Bar a miss. The high prices I could live with but the poor service that many have mentioned is another matter. However a chance acquaintance insisted that I MUST give it a...More

Called in again to see if anything had improved. Nothing whatsoever - in fact, the price of the Bellini had shot up from the €16 euros it had been last year to a whopping €21!!!! The expense is not the issue because this is an...More

I was turned away and I was wearing nice short pants (it was a warm August day), a nice polo shirt and docksider shoes. It was our only unpleasant experience while visiting Italy. But no argument from us. We turned around... More

It is outrageously priced and, unless you are happy to pay €21 for a Bellini it really is not worth going into. Venice has lots more decent bars and restaurants than it did 15 years ago so simply take your custom elsewhere... More
