This bar is like stepping into the 50s. Wood paneled walls and the bartender and waiters wearing white tuxes. The drinks were super expensive but it was worth it.

I had waited a long time to bring my husband here, having eaten/ had drinks at many excellent establishments. It fell far short of expectations. Ushered upstairs to a cramped side room redolent of 1980s McDonalds, we perched on chairs elbow to elbow with others...More

Whenever we are in Venice, we make sure we stop into Harrys for lunch and drinks! Everything on their menu is delicious, but our favorite is the chicken club sandwich with fries. The sandwich is huge and sharable. In addition to their world famous Bellini,...More

This place is famous for being a Hemingway hangout. It was where the Bellini was invented. It’s really small inside. Wait staff is very well dressed. It has a dress code during eating hours, as I was turned away for wearing shorts when we got...More

The birth place of the Bellini . The bar staff attentive and dressed in what looks like traditional 1930 attire . The drinks are expensive but you go knowing this . A Bellini €21 and a coke €14 you do get a bowl of green...More

Last time we visited Venice there was a queue to get in to Harry's Bar so we gave it a miss but this time we were able to get a nice table to enjoy a delicious early evening Bellini. The service was good and we...More

Being quite the Bellini fan it only seemed right for me to go to Harry’s bar to have one! Yes, it is pricey! but I think it is worth it, was definitely the best Bellini I’ve ever had! The setting was also beautiful and the...More

One of those legendary Bar's which has to be done once in your lifetime. Bellini was invented here. I had one made with copious amounts of Gin (they can make it with Vodka as well) and it was an excellent choice. Great atmosphere all around,...More

It’s a cliche for sure , and the famous Bellini is ready made in a bottle which they pour out into small glasses . Pricey but that was expected . Did get complimentary crowuetttws with our drinks though . Don’t expect a view - upstairs...More

Visited last week as a 'must do' in Venice. Well, we've done it, had a lovely but extortionate Bellini, ate a bowl of olives and left €42 lighter. Very transient bar - presumably everyone doing what we were. Lots of staff so quick service but...More

I was turned away and I was wearing nice short pants (it was a warm August day), a nice polo shirt and docksider shoes. It was our only unpleasant experience while visiting Italy. But no argument from us. We turned around... More

It is outrageously priced and, unless you are happy to pay €21 for a Bellini it really is not worth going into. Venice has lots more decent bars and restaurants than it did 15 years ago so simply take your custom elsewhere... More
