It's a long walk around to get there from San Marco and I think prettier from the outside. Recommend you go here before the Basilica or you'll be disappointed.

Titian's Assumption of the Virgin makes it more than worth to visit this church. There is a Euro 3 entry fee for adults.

Worth a stop for the tombs and art work. We used Rick Steves audioguide which was good. We had fun exploring the area around the church.

Intersting Titian and Conova monuments - with an intersted story. What really blew me away was Bellini's "Madonna and Child with Saints and Angels" The 3D effect is truely stunning.

This church is indescribably beautiful with extraordinary art. Some of the great sculptures of Italian art are found here even if they are religious and where else can one see Donatello and Titian for free?

Frari is simply THE BEST. If you love Venetian are, don't miss this museum. A half a dozen of the very best paintings, plus two cool tombs. Use Rick Steve's download for a great mp3 guided tour.
