A masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the building and its sculptural decoration date from various periods. The interior, with works by artists such as Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, A.Vittoria and Tiepolo, includes vast council chambers, superbly decorated residential apartments, and austere prison cells. Along the facades of the Palace run loggias that overlook St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon. The combined entrance ticket to the St. Mark’s Square Museums grants access to the Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of Biblioteca Marciana.

Beautiful rooms and very attractive display of art. Even for the comparatively heathen (like us) the sheer force of the artwork was astounding.

A great architecture wonder. The palace has entrance and huge line up. Buy your tickets in advance or buy Venezia Pass if you are going to do various museums. Do not forget to see the Bridges of Sigh while at the palace.

Nice rooms, lovely walk around and seeing the history, had quite a few signs telling you about the use of the rooms, who decorated them and any restorations.

If your schedule will permit, visit Doges' Palace after 2PM when the cruise ship and daytrip visitors have come and gone.

Was nice to see and take pictures. Go ahead and get tickets at the booth for a tour, you can then by pass the crazy line and get in. It is worth the up charge and they explain everything.

Hi. If we buy the combined St Marks Square Museums ticket do we have to visit each site on the same day? We were hoping to spread it over two days and don't want to have to buy tickets twice... Thanks

Not sure about a ticket office! We met a rep at the front of the building by a bridge! For our tour Think it depends on who you pre book with. Enjoy the tour we did
