This old bridge which is still technically temporary is quite sound. The apex is a wonderful place to take photos of the grand canal leading up to San Marco. On the other side there are several very old churches to visit as well as the...More

This is a most iconic bridge in Venice. It is a focal point point to take most iconic photos in Venice. The best panoramic view with best panoramic photo opportunity.. Don't miss it!! Most outstanding. It might have temporary but it is an ideal place...More

Pretty damned good for a temporary bridge erected donkeys years ago - the timber bracing looks more solid than most of the buildings! Some great views up and down the grand canal

The wooden bridge, a bit far from the touristic center, it is a must see monument in Venice. It is not so crowded as Rialto and it is easy to cross. It’s great advantage is the outstanding view it offers. Take as many pictures as...More

Fantastic view of Santa Maria Della Salute and your photos will look just like the ones you see in the holiday brochures. Difficult to find as the signposts suddenly stop but well worth the effort. Not to busy either unlike the Rialto bridge.

This bridge passes over the great canal. This is located next to the Gallerie dell'Accademia (Academy Gallery). This bridge is made if made of wood and it has steps. Because of that, people with wheelchairs can have difficult to cross there.

I found this one of the best view spots in Venice. You have an excellent view of one of the busiest water routes along the Grand Canal and much more. The palazzo's along this section of the canal are so lovely in contrast with the...More

If it is important point for you to see, just skip it as it is currently undergoing renovation. What that means is you will not see ANYTHING from the bridge as it is completely enclosed in wooden construction elements. Worth thing to see from the...More

This bridge was undergoing major repairs when I visited the city in April, so hopefully they’re over now or will end soon. It was a real shame — I had to hold my camera way over my head to get it above the plywood covering...More

No I do not, but a restoration site is saying 7 months, and when we were there in March it looks as though phase 1 was complete so that leaves about 5.5 month per schedule, so if all runs as planned probably in September... More
