Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

5,011 reviews
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.

This was our third visit to this fabulous little club. The welcome is always warm and the musicians are talented. Check the website in advance as the schedules change (like everything just now) but book in advance if you can. €66 euros for two including pasta and a bottle of wine. Great value night out. If you like jazz then go immediately. If not the go elsewhere as this is a place for listening not chatting!

Discovered the VJC online and turned up on the door to get in for the second half last Saturday. What a great hour. FEderico and his house band played a tight and infectious piano.guitar.bass.drums set with several Ellington standards (the fastest rendition if 'if it aint got that swing...' I have ever heard. They are just restarting their regular shows after lockdown. If you are a jazz lover and have a free evening in Venice, please check their webpages and make it over for a show if you can. They do a great job with standards and Latin jazz. The venue only holds around 30 so they need to get a few full houses to keep going. We were lucky to get in last minute with tourist visitors still way down on normal.

Wow, we had a fabulous night at Venice Jazz Club. Frederico and his staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. 20 Euros each with a free drink was good value for money and we had the meat/cheese platter which was also good value and lovely to munch on throughout the evening whilst drinking prosecco. Frederico's band are first class. We love jazz music and they did not disappoint. All extremely talented musicians and the drummers solo was out of this world. We loved the intimacy of the venue and felt as though we were visiting old friends, even though it was our first visit. From the outside, the venue is totally understated and you could easily walk by. But when you enter it opens up into a really cool place and we loved every minute of it. The next morning we took a Gondola ride and the Gondola man took us past the jazz club and told us that Frederico is his friend and we all remarked on what an amazing musician and host he is. Venice was magical for us and it really topped off my 50th birthday to spend our last night at the Jazz Club. I am sure we will return one day and we will certainly return to the club. Grazie mille!

Such a cool find in Venice. Great way to spend the evening if you love authentic jazz. The band were so impressive. Frederico is a fantastic musician and host and went out of his way to show us a good time in Venice. Drink and snacks included in ticket price. Great atmosphere in the bar! Will visit again next time I am in Venice!
