Find it and go

This is not a restaurant, but you can get a meal so go early before the show. This is a bar/Jazz club and the music is well played.

Visited here in our first night and I loved it. Such a great atmosphere, talented musicians and great host. Definitely worth a visit. All that is missing is a fresh food and a dance floor.

If you buy me a restaurant licence (400.000€) and a place with a dance floor (??00000000€) I'll be happy to satisfy your requests! ;-) Meanwhile enjoy the music F. More

An absolute gem of an experience even for those just appreciating live music and not jazz enthusiasts. The host is multilingual, multi talented and served up some simple but tasty lasagne and risotto as well as compering the show and excelling on the piano. For 20 euros including first drink this small canal side venue offered a hugely enjoyable experience.... More

My husband and I visited here a couple of nights ago. We booked tickets online before going and on arrival there was a table reserved for us. The venue is intimate and small but perfect. Unfortunately there was only about 15 people there on the evening we went but it took nothing away from the music. We had never been... More

Fabulous evening, a great atmosphere. Very talented guys, so laid back - a great way to relax after a busy day walking round this beautiful city. You must book a table as it's only small, intimate but not cramped. Loved every minute.

Small, relaxed, unpretentious venue. Booking a reserved table on the website was very easy . Very charismatic band leader/pianist/host made us laugh and feel very welcome. Very talented musicians. Latin and bossa nova with inspirational percussion. Both my husband, a jazz fan and myself (less so!) had a fantastic night of live music. Thoroughly recommended. The club also happens to... More

We visited this club last night and very much enjoyed our evening. Very accomplished musicians playing some classic Latin jazz numbers but also some Cuban and South American tunes we'd not heard before. Were recommended and will do so for others visiting the city. Very friendly and intimate.

We had a fabulous evening here - the place is small so you need to book ahead - we also found the place during the day as Venice can be a bit confusing to get around. It was wonderful to be 10 feet from the stage - special shout out to the bass player although all the musicians were great... More

The tables are close and the chairs are small, but that's part of what makes this place so special. With the walls lined of quirky musical instruments, it's a great setting for Venice's only specific Jazz venue. We went on a 50's/60's night and the band were fantastic. The service is personal with the host able to speak in a... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
