But the area is fascinating. Lots of Jewish bakeries, restaurants and a different feel to the rest of the island. It was a good stroll. Book in advance to go to the synagogue - our mistake

Our tour was in english. Guide was extremely knowledgeable. Tour includes 3 of the hidden synagogues in the Ghetto area. I had no knowledge of the history behind the Ghetto or Jewish heritage of the area. Thoroughly recommend.

The staff are knowledgable and charming. The synagogue is stunning and the explanation provided in Italian and English. The museum had beautiful Judaica with an interesting film about the history of Padova's Jewish community.
