Very good botanic garden with lots of plants from all around the world. Because of that is on Unesco heritage list. Only downside is that it could be little more bigger you may explore whole garden in 45 min, 1h max. Ticket is 10€.

I was skeptical at first but as soon as I got into the Garden of Biodiversity, I was blown away. I'm a Biology teacher who has gone through so many botanic gardens in my time, but this one was beautifully set out, wonderfully informative and easy to navigate. Totally worth the entrance price (despite initially turning my nose up at... More

We visited the Botanical Gardens one afternoon when the weather wasn't great - in fact it turned into a huge thunderstorm and lightning! The gardens are beautifully laid out and the plants are all marked up so you know what you're looking at. It's hard to believe you're in the heart of Padua once you're in the gardens as it's... It took us over half an hour, walking all around the adjacent public park, to find this garden - which we really wanted to see - but eventually we found a track which looked as though it led to some apartments and actually ended up alongside the glassed entrance. The notice outside said the gardens were open till 19.00 so... More

Beautiful spot, especially the glasshouses - the outside gardens are a little on the tatty side. Well worth a visit although on a hot day, it's hard work staggering around - the tropical glasshouse was actually cooler than the outside garden on the day we visited.

This is the oldest academic botanical garden in Europe (500 years or so). As such, I expected more care but it was just a bit neglected in some areas when I visited in June. However the new greenhouses (with the different habitats) are very nice. Overall still worth a visit for the botanically inclined.

The old Garden realized by Iappelli is now been enlarged with a new modern area inspirated to the different weather areas. Situated in the heart of the city, when you are inside you forget the traffic , the noise of the city and you can have a little relaxing break.

The said there are over 5,000 plants & trees & one needs average of 2-3 hours to have a complete view of all this garden - & believe me, this is true ! But the experience is unbelievable !!!

The modern glass houses compliment the historic gardens wonderfully. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in Padua.

While it may not be the most spectacular Botanical Garden or the most diverse it is recognised as the origins of all botanical gardens in the world so for that alone it is worth a visit.
