Very friendly wine bar inside the Palazzo della Ragione. Some very good wines along with the usual Spritz and some very good snacks, porccetto was particularly good. Called in a few times on our way for our evening meal.

Here you have the butchers that have everything . If you want horse meat , they have it in specialised butcheries. There are poultry specialists , with everything you can imagine .You can even buy goose liver... foi gras. The meat shops here are proud of their products, its a busy market and the quality is high , also the prices. The fish shops offer good quality , the delicatessens have fresh cheeses , the best salamis , the best prosciuto , the selection is phenomenal . There are specialised regional shops as well . With the location between the Piazza Erbe , and Piazza di Fruitta there is not much you cannot buy here , which is why it is so busy every morning. I love this market , it has been here since before medieval times .

A wonderful open market. A nice place to stop for lunch and take a pause in your day. There are also places surrounding the market where you can buy sandwiches.

I wish I lived in Padova so I could shop at this market. Wonderful market to stroll around and look at all of the meat and produce stands. Bought some strawberries outside and just sat by the fountain enjoying people watching.

With 38’C in Padua this location inside the market was a great location with good a/c. Had a good selection of white wines and delicious ham sandwiches. Well recommended with pleasant English speaking staff.

It is a market mainly for food of high quality and local production. You can find really good things there. You also find some cafes. It is worth to go, even for a short look, if you don't intend to buy something as it is already interesting to watch and look at the architecture.

On the ground floor of the Palazzo della Ragione, under the external porticoes but also in the corridors at the base of the building, there is a large covered market with a number of shops, especially food shops. Towards Piazza delle Erbe, many shops, in addition to selling products, also provide take-away food to eat at the tables in the square. Characteristic and an opportunity to get some local food. On Saturday it was actually very crowded at aperitif time.

Like the other similar squares in the area, there are cafes, ice cream parlors and coffee shops for a pleasant stay. Without being anything special, it is worth visiting for the gertzele. Just to note that they misplace it in the malls. You can only find a few small shops with gastronomic options.
