It's a must experience if you are nearby. Even in summer time you can see the snow and the beautiful glacier. The cabins are rotating during the ascent, so you will enjoy the astonishing views of the valley.

(Italian side) Felt like we were on top of the world. Check before that you have a clear day. If you can get tickets before or on line it is worth it to say the line. Huge gondola that rotates as it goes up. Get off at the first stop to acclimaitze yourself to the height. You have to get... More

Not for people who suffer from heights! The cable car holds 50 people and gets pretty bouncy every time you pass a pole - not for the faint hearted. However, the first stop off has a fantastic park for kids, while the second has a walkway where you can take in the breathtaking scenery and breathe the chilly air -... More

Amazing views of Mont Blanc and the immense stretch of glaciers on this long comfortable ride. An engineering marvel! And fabulous views at both ends. Definitely worth every penny if the weather is good!

Amazing modern operation that sends you up into the alpine around Mont Blanc in a matter of a few minutes. Great facilities at each stop. What a view! If we had time would've explored the alpine garden.

Wonderful experience, you must come visit and enjoy in top of the Europe. It's expensive 48€ to go on top, but it's worth every penny. You can spend whole day, but if you don't have that time you need about 2-3h to make good tour.

A wonderful albeit prices ride towards the peak of Mont. Blanc. It gets very busy so book online and you can skip the queue. Dogs allowed but muzzled or carried in your arms in the tele cabin. Expensive chaotic restaurant at the midway station.

There are two parking spaces possible. One outside and one inside the building of the cable car. A lot of people were waiting to enter. However, we got up on the cable car fairly quickly. Very rapid increase in a modern cable car. There is one stop along the way, where additional cable car replacements. When you reach the top,... More

A hot sunny Sunday in August, and we had failed to book in advance. I hour queue to buy tickets and get on the lift, another queue at the middle station, but avoided that by going for a hike, fabulous scenery and some tricky terrain. Up again without too much of a queue. Coming back 2hrs of queuing to come... More

We have visited many mountain resorts in the summer (Jackson Hole, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, etc). This is by far the best gondola experience we have ever had. It's expensive (170 Euro for a family of four Plus the Panoramic Gondola to Auguille du Midi) but worth every penny. The technology and architecture are amazing and the views are out... More
