Purtroppo non è visitabile la si vede solo dall'esterno visitando il Teatro Romano eretta per la famiglia nobile del Duca di Quart.

Turm der Stadtbefestigung

Der Torre dei Signori steht im Herzen der historischen Altstadt von Aosta direkt an der Porta Pretoria. Vom Arco di Augusto aus ist man zu Fuss in weniger als drei Minuten hier.

Der quadratische Turm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert ist Teil der ehemaligen Stadtbefestigung. Als Teil der Porta Pretoria bietet er die Möglichkeit für den einen oder anderen gelungenen Schnappschuss.

C'è chi scrive che a parte l'interesse storico non ha nulla di interessante. E cos'altro dovrebbe ancora avere questo magnifico esempio di architettura antica? Una testimonianza secolare davvero interessante, rara e meritevole di studio ed approfondimento.

accanto a Porta Pretoria

La Torre dei signori si trova accanto alla porta Pretoria ed è stata costruita come abitazione dei signori di Quart usando blocchi prelevati dalla porta stessa. La si incrocia per forza andando verso il vicino teatro romano ma attualmente è visitabile solo all’esterno. Comunque da vedere perché è un bell’esempio di abitazione fortificata medievale.
