Two beautiful adjoining sixteenth-century buildings, both frescoed by Marcello Fagolino (1483-1558)
The figures of Girone can be seen, then the chariot with Diana , followed by Occasio and Nemesi . Higher there sword of Damocles then the triumph of Love, the triumph of Wisdom and the triumph of Abundance.
The works ideally reach their climax in the Scale of Virtues and are explained by the scrolls in Latin, and can be considered a "book on morals" opened out to the square and inspired by the emblematic culture of the Renaissance.

The Case Cazuffi-Rella are two adjacent buildings of the sixteenth century located at the Piazza del Duomo in Trento.
What makes the two buildings so special, is the fact that the façades overlooking the square, are adorned with frescoes attributed to Fogolino. The art of painting the façades of buildings is also widespread in the Treviso area and often occurred in conjunction with important events.
The character of the subjects confers to Trento a secular character differentiated with respect to the religiosity of those frescoed in the valleys.

Would have liked to have further detailed history and info on this beautiful house. The frescoes are wonderful and amazingly in good condition exposed to the elements for so long. Great place under the arcades to sit in shade in a hot day, enjoy some refreshments and watch the traffic of people go by.

The whole of Trento's main square Piazza Duomo is gorgeous, and in one corner there are these beautiful houses covered in frescoes with arches underneath.

Piazza Duomo, the city tower (Torre Civica), the Neptune fountain, the house "Rella" and its frescoes, via Belenzani (was Contrada Larga) ... more than beautiful.

Houses that overlook the main square, spectacular in the shape of the construction on the facade which is frescoed and therefore beautiful, unfortunately, terrible, extremely terrible, the fact that there are green bar awnings pitched on the facade which completely ruin this beauty
