Passeggiando in Maia Alta

Inoltrandosi nelle passeggiate di Maia Alta si scorgono le residenze fatte costruire dai nobile nell'800.
Un primo esempio ne è il castello di Winkl, di aspetto tardorinascimentale.

Bel maniero seicentesco...

Girovagando per Maia Alta non passa inosservata la torre barocca del Castello Winkel, elegante costruzione seicentesca radicalmente restaurata alla fine degli anni trenta del novecento. Purtroppo ci si deve solo limitare ad una visita dall'esterno in quanto ancora residenza privata.

Al Ponte dell'Assunta sono stato a Merano con la mia compagna attratto anche dai mercatini di Natale con l'intento di visitare le bellezze di una città di cui nutrivo un vago ricordo.La fiumana di gente che aveva invaso la città per fortuna disertava i luoghi artistici.Ci siamo recati al castelletto all'apertura , abbiamo visitato gli ambienti ben consevati anche se in parte ristrutturati offrono un quadro della vita che si svolgeva in questo piccolo maniero.

Ci siamo imbattuti casualmente in questo sito.
Notoriamente Maia Alta è conosciuta come la zona in cui tra 800/900 i nobili e la borghesia stabilivano le loro residenze.
Ho chiesto se era visitabile ma mi è stato risposto che è impossibile in quanto privato.
Pertanto ci siamo accontentati di vederlo dall'esterno.
La costruzione è elegante in cui spicca una torre.
