I wanted to go to support the idea of a museum for women. While the permanent collection is lovely, the highlight for us was a collection of Portraits by a photographer who visited Burma to meet women who have been face tatooed.

Well worth a visit if you are out and about in Meran. Full of interesting artifacts, old clothes and good stories! We've really enjoyed the visit and the opportunity to cool down from the scorching sun.
