This was a walk we took twice a day - once with intent for a long walk and another for just going somewhere. So convenient. A variety of displays provided seasonally. Definitely wear comfortable shoes. Bikes also available.

Really beautiful riverside walk with ever-changing vistas. I thought it was much prettier than the Summer Promenade on the other side which had hardly any views. Also the best ice cream in Merano is on this side!

Along the river, first through the covered area and then through nicely planted areas beside the river. It passes a copuple of bridges so you can cross to the park on the other side. Very pleasant in the hot sun.

This is the warmest spot in Merano and so would be an ideal walk in all seasons. Along the way there are places to sit, eat or dine. You can watch the fast flowing waters spill by or people watch from a bench or from...More
