Il parco è molto esteso, personalmente ho visitato la zona vicino a Corvara, zona Cima Santa Croce e non solo. Tutto stupendo e ben tenuto, ci sono ovviamente rifugi e baite, impianti di risalita, sentieri ben segnalati per tutti i gusti. Merita una visita ed una esplorazione anche approfondita.

Un ambiente unico, con paesaggi a tratti lunari, raggiungibile da più parti. Unico neo, l‘affollamento eccessivo in alta stagione, e il via vai di jeep che trasportano i turisti „pigri“.

Anche con una giornata dal tempo incerto abbiamo deciso di avventurarci in uno dei sentieri più gettonati (ed anche accessibili) del parco: da Pederù alla malga Gran Fanes. Scenari fantastici, con le imponenti dolomiti a far da cornice ma anche una vegetazione incontaminata. Suggestivo (anche se con poca acqua) il lago Limo, nei pressi dell'omonimo passo. Tante le mucche e i vitelli nei pascoli, sempre ospitali i malgari.

Un vero paradiso. Partiti dal rifugio Pederù verso la malga Fanes. Una camminata in salita per circa due ore incastonata in un paesaggio mozzafiato. A metà strada si arriva ad un laghetto verde, fantastico. La siccità rende arido un letto di un fiume rendendolo comunque suggestivo. Ogni tratto che percorri è fantastico, la fatica si fa sentire ma in cima alla salita arrivi al parlamento delle marmotte, anche qui da togliere il fiato. Assolutamente da fare durante le vostre vacanze.

Altra visita in questo bellissimo parco, questa volta dal lato prati di Armentara, meravigliose distese verdi, si fermano contro rocciose montagne che riempono l'orizzonte. Paesaggio avvolgente, che rilassa e rapisce, baite, sentieri, boschi a perdita d'occhio, assolutamente da esplorare più volte e nelle diverse zone.
