Such a lovely piazza in an exceptional location, close restaurants, shopping and many other significant Torinese landmarks. Very quiet during the daytime while we were there but a little busier in the evening..

A nice square with the pillar in the middle as a monument, we walked past it and was nice to sit at the square and watch different kinds of people walk past

The square was designed in VXIII century by Michelangelo Garove. It's remarkable by an obelisk standing right in the center.

Nice place to sit and rest or eat for a while. Interesting to fill all your senses with every aspect of the dynamics around this neighbourhood

It was rather interesting to see in the middle of a small piazza an twenty metre high marble obelisk which had been erected in 1853 to commemorate the 'Siccardi Laws of 1850'. As the sign by the road states "The Siccardi Law (1850) abolished the clergy's right to be tried by the church courts for criminal offences: Everyone was now equal under the law. The Gazetta del Popolo newspaper opened a subscription to contribute to finance the monument: approx 800 municipalities contributed. Under the obelisk were buried, two copies of the newspaper, the plans for the monument, and some coins; a killo of rice and a bottle of Barbera wine and a packet of breadsticks: all typical products from Piedmont."
