It is good to take a look if you are passing by
Dec 2019
I would not say this monument is a must-see but is good enough to take a look if you pass by. We noticed it while wandering around the Royal Gardens.
It was built as a tribute to the "carabinieri", especially those who had lost their lives in the WWI. There is a bronze figure of a "carabiniere" in the mid level, on the top of the structure is a scene depicting the oath the carabinieri have taken, and at the base of the monument is a composition with many images portraying some historical events and the duties they had carried out.

National Monument to Policeman
Apr 2016 • Couples
While walking through Giardini Reali on our way over to Mole Antonelliana we come upon the very large Monumento al Carabiniere, a national monument dedicated to policeman, to the fallen. Erected after WW1 in 1933, around the base of the monument runs a large relief which depicts the main tasks carried out by police in peace and in war. Check it out.
