This tour is the perfect choice if you like baroque and landscape art, history, royal mansions, medieval castles and want to enjoy the riverside, squirrels and ducks in the most ancient public park of Turin.

The Valentino park is a must to see in Turin and you will appreciate it even more with someone who has been living in the city for 44 years that will show you with knowledge and humor (why not?) also more hidden spots, in addition to the main features.

It's also nice to walk alone, but with an insider's explanation, without missing even a corner and in good company, it will be quite another thing!

The park hosts the Rock Garden (crossed by paved paths, little streams, water features, terraces, contemporary sculptures), a French style baroque castle owned by the royal family, a charming Medieval Village with its artisan shops and drawbridge, the impressive Fountain of the 12 Months and much more.

Plus, each season has its own charm and you won't be disappointed even in the cold months!

I'll be also at your complete disposal for any questions about Turin/Italy: what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language, etc. to make your experience as useful as possible. Consider me like your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide!

*** IMPORTANT: The visit can start between 11am and 5pm, depending on the weather, season...

THE SCHEDULE YOU SEE ONLINE IS MERELY INDICATIVE, CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING.

✓✓✓ Please WRITE to me BEFORE booking (to +39 33 94 60 48 85 or here in the Questions & Answers) also since, depending on your availability and language, another day/hour would fit you better and I could ask you to change the day (the tour can be in 4 languages).

This is the throbbing heaving heart of Turin- absolutely fantastic; so lively, especially on a Saturday, even during Covid. It is spectacular- lined with beautiful shops & cafes enclosed by stunning architecture. What a treat- beats Peterborough!

so many piazze, some small and intimate, some vast and grand. Always, the proportions of the architecture are a joy to stroll past, study, absorb.

Beautiful square in the city centre, dominated by the very detailed statue of the horseman. Great architecture all around.

Piazza Carlo Alberto is a square located in the center of Torino, a city of the North part of Italy. Also it is near from Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. It is a beautiful square, where you can see equestrian statue and nice buildings, which surrounds the square. If you walk around the center, I recommend you visit this place, if not it is not necessary.

Carlo Alberto and h is prancing horse are the centre point of this square around which it is very pleasant to walk, stopping at one of the cafés for a coffee or an aperitivo.
