A fantastic museum as well as a tour of the tunnels. Having not done much research we expected it to just be a tour of the tunnels, but the museum which proceeded them was really excellent, especially having a guide to explain the various exhibits. Our guide (who we think delayed his lunch to accommodate us) was passionate, informative and... More

We did not have a chance to take reserve a guide for this museum because we did not know what time we could be there. It is much better to get a guide in advance, since you cannot go into the tunnels unaccompanied. However, you can join a tour group for the tunnels, so here are some tips to time... More

This is the first thing we did when arriving in Turin and it really set up the whole time we were there, because of the history we receieved from this tour. We booked a tour with a guide beforehand, online, which was very easy and we did not regret it. Our guide was very knowledgable and charming and we could have... More

Whether or not you are a history buff, or into military history, this museum is an amazing testament to the enthusiasm of volunteers in Turin. If you need an english guide I would encourage you to ring up and ask for a tour time as they specifically arranged an english guide for us, and 4 others. It is not expensive... More

This is a fantastic little museum. I discovered the site while on TA and immediately emailed asking for an English speaking guide. Our guide Riccardo was so knowledgable he really bought to life the history of the Battle of Turin (1706) and Pietro Micca's heroic actions. The museum is very easy to find from Turin railway station, just cross the... More

Our morning tour of Museo Pietro Micca was fabulous, I had made a reservation for the guided tour in-advance, email communication with the museum was prompt, and on arrival at the museum our guide was waiting for us on the front steps. For the very small fee of three euros each we were guided around this very interesting museum for... More

If you are lucky you will get the guide that did our tour this morning. His English was good as was his ability to explain the local history in a way that made it alive. Our group included teenagers and children who he was able to keep interested. Being able to go into the tunnels is an experience. Do wear... More

It has a small part of museum and then underground galleries. There's always a guide (included in the price of the museum - which btw is only 3€ full price!) who explains you the history of the galleries and takes you down under. These days they also have a temporary exhibition of drawings and postcards of people and live around... More

It was a place you can learn about History of Turin. With Guide you can also explore the long tunnel they dug so many years ago. Very educational.

This museum offers a very interesting look into Turin's history, starting with several exhibits and then wrapping up with a walk through the underground tunnels. The guides don't seem to speak anything besides Italian, but we were kindly given audio guides in English, so we didn't feel like we missed much. If you are at all interested in the city's... More
