Huge and hectic place
Jun 2020
The market covers a huge area and is usually very hectic and crowdy. My wife got quite stressed but I love such busy places even just watching and loitering around. The market actually consists of a huge food court with plenty stalls, clothing shops and such for trinkets and memorabilia, and an area for selling fruit and vegetables. You need to take care of your valuables because you can encounter pickpockets.

Wonderful Huge Market
Sep 2020
The atmosphere is very much like how it was in the old markets in London- Smithfields etc.
There is a downmarket area for the poor but there is also a very nice food hall full of fantastic fresh products that you can buy & eat.
Pastry shops, delicatessens, & ice cream counters, as well as bars.
Well worth the trip on the tram but also not far from the Palace.
Go early though.

Great market
Oct 2020
Great market for food especially. Huge halls of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and pasta. The mushroom stall was beautifully presented with a forest theme, all stalls have wonderful presentation of their wares The clothes and non food stalls were of lesser interest.

Food Hall
Aug 2020 • Couples
There are actually 3 markets here. The food Hall, the outdoor fruit, veg, clothing and household goods, and also indoors Antica Tettoia, meat and cheese market.
The Food Hall is very clean and well organised and you can try many foods and eat at the communal tables and chairs, pizza, steaks, rotisserie chicken etc. Nice to do a little shopping and then eat and drink.

Europe's largest outdoor market
Aug 2020 • Couples
Huge array of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as artisan cheese, meats, whole hall of fish stalls. Plenty of fine and jumbly clothes stalls too. Bags and belts galore. Ultra modern indoor hall with communal eating space for fine foods and wines- just like Altrincham and Porto.

It is open market. From fresh fruits to vegetables, clothes, bags , daily use items , kitchen accessories etc at reasonable price but it’s good for families or someone living nearby

We stayed in the area and when we visited it was a place to go for fresh meat, fruit and veg. We didn't buy anything but could see the quality of the goods

I was there and was a little bit surprised. There was a big bazar and you can find many cheap fruites and vegetables to buy and then go to this place and eat sth.
