We found this little gem whilst wandering around. Very few tourists seem to know about it. It was under restoration and they used a builders lift to take us up to the first stage. From here you had to walk up scaffolding steps for quite a while. The platform that was at the final destination was a bit rickety but what a fabulous experience. The views are magnificent and you could have spent a considerable amount of time. We were also amazed at the price as it was only a couple of Euros.

Quite tall bell tower, adjacent to the Duomo. One of the tallest buildings in the old city. Minimalist architecture.

Torre Campanaria del Duomo is literally the Bell tower of the Cathedral, which is located in the center of Torino, a city in the North of Italy. Inside the building, there is a very important place for catholic people, because in a chapel there is the holy shroud (or something that people believe that is the holy shroud). A very interesting place for christians or for history-lovers. Also, when you visit the cathedral, you have to go up to the bell tower. In fact, for me, the bell tower is the place most interesting, because the views of the Centro Storico, the Antonelliana Tower, the river Po and the surroundings are very beautiful. Also, I came here with my daughter and she enjoy a lot with the views of the city and a big comercial balloon.

The Campanile (or belltower) is adjacent to the Turin Cathedral. It can be accessed by a token entry fee (3 euros). To reach the observation level, you climb 210 step. On a good day, the view is spectacular and it is a great place for photography. Immediately next is the ruin of the Roman amphitheater, La Porta Palatina and right behind the Cathedral, the Royal palace and the historic center of Turin.

A very beautiful campanile which, however, is little highlighted and in which you cannot climb.
Too bad to miss out.
