The columns and portal give away the entrance to the cathedral but it is in the main street, surrounded by shops and seems to almost hide. However once entering it is what you might expect of a nineteenth century church.

Typical baroque interior - lots of painted imitation marble. Not much of an atmosphere, not worth much more than five minutes of your time

You can easily walk passed the entrance without realising it. Yet enter through the collonade entrance and see an incredible decorated building. Look at the beautiful ceilings and ornate side chapels. A must see.

Just off the Via Roma, this is part of Route 1 of the Cuneo walking tours "Cuneo in your pocket". Pick this booklet up from the tourist office further down the Via Roma to find lots of architectural treasures in the town.
