Medieval church originally built for Humiliati and later given to Dominicans. Today it's Romanian Orthodox Church.

Passing by here this morning I hoped that the church was open, a hope that was obviously disappointed. Moreover, even if I entered, I still would not have been able to see the works of art, some due to the dim light, others because they were hidden by the iconostasis and liturgical furnishings. Among the latter I would really like to be able to admire two paintings in particular (assuming they are still there) - the Pentecost by Camillo Procaccini and the Assumption by Morazzone - as well as the bas-relief with the Immaculate Conception, by Francesco Somaini. Who knows if I'll ever succeed.
