Having studied architecture, I have seen this project featured on various architectural websites a few years back and have always wanted to visit the project in person. Since I was visiting Milan, I decided to drop by the store on my last day. Although I didn't make any appointments, Claudio, the owner was very friendly and agreed to take me on a short tour where he talked me through the concept and the design process behind the project. It truly is an amazing project, transforming an old derelict cinema space into a new social and workable space again! Thanks Claudio!

Whether you're a skater, a designer or an architect (or if you simly like street-style), Bastard is really worth a visit. The products are "designed by users for users", with great attention to details and definitely fair prices. The building is amazing: a old cinema turned into a design studio, company, shop, skate bowl, all in one. The owners are super-nice people, and they're always happy to introduce visitors to what they do. The shop is easy to reach with the new metro (line 5), and while you're thare you can take the chance to buy food at one of the last 3 historical groceries in Milano (same road, on the corner).
