This is indeed a unique experience - to stroll between majestic Cathedral spires, buttresses and catch a bird's eye view of Milan across and below. Be sure to get the 'lift' ticket rather than scale the long stairs as they can be strenuous, unless you're...More

We hadn't pre-booked our tickets but our guide on another tour suggested the best place to buy without pre-booking was from the Palazzo Reale just across from the Duomo, the lines are generally smaller and tickets for the terrace & duomo can also be bought...More

A trip to the terrace is so worthwhile. We did not reserve in advance and when we went at around 12.30 there was a huge line waiting for tickets. We made the decision to go back later at 5pm which worked our great. There was...More

Worth every step up you have to climb! The view is fantastic & the thrill is real as you realize that centuries old cement is keeping you from toppling to the piazza below!

A bar/ restaurant very close to the duome. A magnificient view over the piazza. Lots of people and very popular. A bit touristic but still nice. A little bit expensive. Very nice for a drink or two.

Despite pre-booking a ticket through Viator, I still was sent back and forth until I found I had to exchange my voucher for an actual ticket, so the pre-purchase saved me nothing. The climb isn't actually too bad and the staircase was reasonably wide, but...More

We went up by the lift. It took us a good one hour up there. Taking nice photos and admiring the great architecture which one cannot imagine if not visited.

No i actually just bought it on the day. Next to The Duomo there is the ticket office and they have some machines that are easy and faster than waiting in line for the tickets :)
