It was one of the best performances we have ever seen. Nice and yound audiance! The only downside: some of the visitors used their smartphones during the presentation...

Went to the Cinderella ballet, shown by La Scala Academic ballet school. We were very impressed, and Russians are very demanding when it comes to ballet. Amazing show and costumes.

The Piccolo Teatro Milano (actually, comprising THREE theaters in down town Milan ) is an absolute MUST DO in the city of fashion. This is one of the best places for culture, entertainment, joy, and simple fun. Wonderful prices if you shop only for tickets. Extraordinary shows, be it classical theater or contemporary things, modern music or Shakespeare, you name... More

Nice place to walk when going to Castelo Sforzesco, but all closed in August. The streets in this region are beautiful and peaciful, with no commerce.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
