The area
Neighborhood: Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Lovely park in centre of Milam with pond, ducks and terrapins. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe which was much cheaper than main street.Take an empty bottle as you can fill up at the outside water dispenser near the entrance, next to the museum.

This is a relatively small park but a delight, especially on a hot summer day. There are plenty of benches in the shade beside a little lake and stream. Young children play a pick up game of soccer on the open lawn. But it is much less busy than the Public Gardens nearby.

Having studied in Switzerland, near the Italian Border, gave me many opportunities to visit Milan. This park was often a favorite respite from my studies and as well as the occasional shopping spree of cosmopolitan Mila. There are lovely cafes that you can take out a panini and have eat at the park.

This place was just wonderful to walk around. It has some work being done so it limits were you are going and looks run down, but overall - look past this and it is a lovely garden to enjoy and even participate in events

I absolutely adore this small paradise in the centre of the busy city. There is a small falls with a pond with swans and ducks and sitting by it makes you feel rested. It is a typical English garden, with a huge lawn where you can sunbathe in the summer period. It gives you a sense of escape, a gulp of freshness.

The park is situated nearby the shopping area Corso Buenos Aires, so it is a welcome pause from the busy shopping street. Its nice for a walk, there is also a playground, however its not outspokingly astonishing.

I was so incredibly disappointed of this park. Everyone said it would be beautiful and green, but really you can both here and smell the cars passing by and the parc is just dirty and full of trash.

The small and elegant park is a perfect spot for having a short break, especially on the hot summer day. But keep in mind that the park is reserved for the children up to twelve years accompanied by adult person. However, this is one of my favorite spots in the city...

I enjoyed my time in this park quite a lot since it was a sunny, warm day of October. The place is ideal for a quick picnic, reading or taking photos of Villa Reale or the ducks as the wide lawn look very pretty.
I've also noticed that events are held here like festivals, concerts or kids activities.
