The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

This spot is suitable for shopping as it contains some outlets and it is nicely decorated by this fountain.

A nice fountain on route from our hotel to the cathedral. Not really reviewable as it is hardly an attraction and not really impressive but little things / areas like this add to the initial impressions of a city.

The shopping area around is beautiful and awesome, but... the water fall? Never on... Again, its nothing compared to everything around it. Still had a great time with many tourist areas, and shopping centers.

You will find this fountain at the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. The fountain is an example of a very interesting architecture on the square, which is completely different than the shopping area around.

You find this fountain at the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, it is in a lovely square and an antidote to all the commercialism. The fountain stops and then suddenly it starts again.
You can find an official Milan souvenir shop in the square.
I really liked the "Nobility of Time" sculpture which you can find in the square and is easily recognizable as a work by Salvador Dali.

The last day under all my travels I go around frustrated and really dont wanna go home to work and the life home and under this day i run into this fountain. It was located on the metro stop called san babila. It was as many other things in Milano nice, some renovation in the neighbourhood. A indianer played typical music for them and made it nice to stop there for some moments. Behind the fountain it was a strange art or statue I try to find a photo thats show both. I guess its more nice here under the summer then in the cold winter time.

If you want to have a little rest, it is nice to stop at this place. The fountain itself is nothing speacial, but it adds a plus to the neighborhood.
