On a small square you will find this modern statue. Even if you don't like modern art, this is a piece what you can admire. There is in Pesaro a similar work of Pomodoro which became the symbol of the small city.

Came across this by mistake, and actually wondered what it was, although we could see it was beautiful. Such a shame it is not in a more prominent plaza, and that it is not better explained.

Came across this piece of art while walking around at night. It is a large metal sculpture in a piazza near the Duomo. It is a striking piece and looks like some alien spacecraft. It looked especially nice at night.

This is a beautiful golden disc, located in the middle of Meda square. The patterns carved on the disc make it look almost alien-like, and the bright reflection of light from it is absolutely stunning. While Meda square has little to offer in terms of...More

A beautiful sample of modern Italian sculpture....Pomodoro, the sculptor lives and works in Milan, what could represent more the aesthetics standards of this city? I personally think it is a shame this solar sculpture is hidden in a small piazza, surrounded by grand offices type...More
