It couldn't have been better. Oleg is knowledgeable and has clearly done his homework in order to deliver the most exciting, but relaxing, days out I've ever had in the area. He's absolutely right - an informative one-hour journey on a train (rather than sitting for 2 hours on a coach with the guide having to say the same thing in 4 languages) with the sights of the Italian countryside to accompany us. He avoided the hordes of tourists and overcrowding which dog the area.
His knowledge of Balbianello was extensive and I was impressed that immediately he was able to reference the films which used the setting as a backdrop. Again, the ferries he used were not overcrowded and throughout the journey he was able to explain the history both recent and past.
And there were those things which are important to some and not others. Where to buy the best ice cream (Varenna), the best value cafe (Balbianello) and where to find a clean toilet!
This man has the right attitude of a tour guide and listens to his customers.
And finally - what great value! Thank you, Oleg.

Such a great day with a small group traveling by train. Loved seeing all the beautiful sights and learning the history of Como and Lugano. Chiara was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was not rushed and let you have plenty of time to explore. Would definitely recommended.

Really fun, beautiful and informative trip! Stefano was an excellent and engaging host. Wines were great and the scenery was amazing. Also met fun people on the tour :). Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time touring Alba and Barolo with our guide. Even though we were with a small group of non-Italians, the places we visited felt very authentic. We had lunch as a couple at a great restaurant in Alba recommended by the guide, which we probably never would have found otherwise.
It was a great mixture of guided touring with helpful information as well as unstructured time to explore around. Delicious food and wine, beautiful views, and nice people!

This small group tour was a perfect walk and sightseeing. The views were perfect from Bellagio, Varenna and Bellano Gorge. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable who made this tour even better with little tid-bits about the place. The travel path was easy and the locations were wonderful. Everyone should experience this tour.

Fantastic day tour when you’re in Milan! Our guide was Stefano who was so nice and took the time the get to know everyone. The smaller tour with 10 people was so much better than a big tour because you were able to interact with everyone and the tour was more personal. Definitely an unforgettable experience that was breathtaking. The small village Torno was great because there were no other tour groups, and you got a little taste of what the locals’ lives were like. 100% recommend

This tour was an Amazing experience
We had Chiara as our guide and she was so nice and friendly. We had plenty of time in each town to explore and never felt rushed. The train was a much better way then a bus to travel.. no traffic!! The group size was perfect. Overall we loved the tour and will recommend to our clients and friends.

This is a great tour if you want to visist Como and Lugano, with a fantastic tour guide, Chiara! She was very knowledgeable and super nice, always keeping the tour very organized and on time. You have plenty of alone time to do your sightseeing,. Everything is done by train, so perfect for smaller groups. Note this tour does not include Bellagio (for all the ones who really want to visit). Enjoy!

What a wonderful way to see the Como & Lake Como area! Oleg was a great tour guide who explained this beautiful area well & answered all our questions. He was on time, personable & knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour. The guide was professional and very knowledgeable about the area. Both rivers are beautiful and we saved a lot of time on the trains.

Hello, We are considering joining your tour in April. The tour is from Milan to Como and Lugano. We have some questions.
1. The description on Trip Advisor recommends the tour for ages 6-69. We are in our mid seventies. We are mobile and able to walk distances. Do you see our age as a problem.
2. Is there guaranteed seating on the boat ride.
3. Why is there a concern about back problems?

Yes absolutely, there is a village besides lake Como which is a bit of a hike but I did it with arthritis in my ankle. It’s a great tour. 100% recommend
