I love the statues of the Duomo and this museum lets you see them almost at eye level. It’s easier to appreciate the artistry of the building from this view. I also loved the stained glass exhibit for the same reason. It’s rare to get...More

Entry is included in the Duomo ticket. Unfortunately, what nobody told us when we bought the tickets was that both the Duomo Museum and San Gottardo Church are shut on Wednesdays. The combo tickets we bought were valid for 3 days and accordingly we planned...More

Since the price of admission to the Duomo includes a visit to the museum, we decided to have a quick look. Notable objects that struck my fancy include stained glass windows, huge collection of statues and statuettes including the gold colored Virgin Mary, reliefs and...More

The museum shows you many gargoyles, stained glass, and some other things from the Duomo up close. Mostly a lot of old statues. We maybe spent up to 2 hours here. I wouldn't necessarily say it was a must see, but we enjoyed it. Entrance...More

Entrance to the museum included with the Lombardia Museum Pass which I bought here at the desk on my first day in Milan. Quiet early morning at opening time. Perhaps many visit the Duomo first and not vice versa. Re-opened in 2013 after a major...More

While the main attraction of Milan's prime landmark is certainly the Duomo itself and its rooftops, this one also shouldn't be missed, specially because it's included in your combo ticket. The museum displays stages and parts from building this masterpiece and it's divided by categories.

Went on a great tour to see the Duomo, the Baptistry, David and this. Loved it all, but the original doors to the Baptistry and Donatello's Penitent Mary Magdelene made this well worth it, Michaelangelo's unfinished last Pieta is icing on the gelato. Went with...More
