I used my time for my connection flight to do this 2 hour tour. I enjoyed it and learnt about this fascinating city with it's enchanting roads and cathedrals.

We were in Milan off season (January) and booked last minute. When we arrived for our morning tour we were surprised that it was just us. The tour wasn’t cancelled for lack of interest (had that happen the day before with a Venice tour). So we were impressed from the start. Fabio spoke well and his knowledge of the Duomo history and architecture was detailed and interesting. His enthusiasm for the subject was genuine. I understand now why people are still queuing to see this masterpiece after 500 years old. It was just pinTed on the wall of a refractory in an monastery. It was renovated so many times, because Leonardo used some very fragile type of paint.
