Even if you don't plan on spending 4 or 5 figures in the many luxury boutiques, you should go down this road and get a glimpse of what's currently hot. During Christmas time, via Monte Napoleone is decorated beautifully and lights create a romantic atmosphere.

In via Montenapoleone you can find all the best Italian and international brands at the right price. I suggest you go there in January for the sales.

This is like the heaven for shoppers in paradise . It puts the class into a mall mouse . This friends is how it's done. Come and see how the locals do it. And the new Dolce and Gabana shop is something to be seen as its interior is very Italian 40's /50's with an incredible staircase in green marble... More

Spent an hour wandering around the area, high end shops and so priced for those who can afford it. Great just to walk and people watch, even though I wasn't likely to ever go in a shop on the street. Some interesting people but personally I'll spend my money on a break or holiday rather than a fashion designer name.... More

Is the main shopping street (if you have money)! still if you don;t, just go around and see what is trending now. Very often you will see a actor or football player shopping.

This is one of the two high end shopping streets in this area. If you want to buy a true designer piece on your trip this is the place. You don't need to buy, as this is also a great place to window shop and an added bonus is the streets get very little sun, so it is a great... More

Impressive shopping street with the most famous fashion brands and jewellers represented . Excellent window displays, however, on the negative side it has to be noted that the famous and expensive Cova Bar/Coffè is the only place where you can get a refreshment/coffè, otherwise only expensive shops.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
