Nice meeting facilities for this small to medium sized meeting. Impressive overall building, offering a very large combination of meeting rooms. Quite good catering. Good chairs and good acoustics in the large meeting room we had.

Arriving in Milan from the motorways of the lakes and from the highway for Turin on the left you will find this large exhibition and congress center, with a metal drape that wraps its head towards the three towers

I'm not sure if the MiCo is not as excellent as I expected or if the organizers of the congress I went to were at fault.
Having gone to earlier versions of the same congress in Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Berlin, Buenos Aires and Sidney, I rate this below all others. Transportation required long lines for a taxi, we ended paying hundreds of dollars on those over 5 days. The distribution of the rooms and their insufficiency to hold assistants made it way suboptimal. Milan is gorgeous and full of tourist attractions but it needs to clean up its act. Graffiti on the wall of monuments and historic churches is unacceptable. So is the smog level.

The volume of plastic waste during the exhibition was unbelievable. No water fountains to refill bottles and plastic water bottles everywhere. The stands that had ordered water fountains we supplied with plastic cups. The catering services in the venue supplied plastic cups wrapped in event more plastic and plastic packs of cutlery. The packed lunches had a bottle of water, a sandwich wrapped in plastic and piece of fruit in a paper bag. The volume of plastic waste within a 3 day exhibition would have been unbelievable. There were no food waste bins within the venue making it very difficult to recycle properly.

I expected a lot from a venue for the world congress of dermatologists! I have seen much better venues!
There should be amenities outside the building, there were neither places to sit nor relax. For an auditorium this big, there should be restaurants, coffee shops and enclosures for smokers.
The entire open area was filled with cigarette smoke!
Please consider the suggestions!

I was at MICO for Conference- many conference rooms and choices for foods. But they should have the connecting bridge to City of life.

Good spaces for exhibitions and many rooms for conferences, nice temperature, metro station on the outskirts.

Well located but small for the business.
If you are exposing / exhibiting, the build up process can take long due to the line of trucks to go inside to deliver the goods. There's not much space insider for truck parking.
The parking in the roof tome may also create some problems when everyone is leaving at the same time.

The interior of this congress centre is poorly designed, often requiring long circuitous walks to go from one part to the other, made worst by the highly confusing signposting. As the previous reviewer, I had a lot of problems with the WIFI access, which only worked in certain parts of the centre. Congress centres rarely are welcoming places, but this one is particularly poor. As for food, it is indeed better just to go out as there are some cheap restaurants offering nice pizzas around.

1,4000 of us attended a conference. Interesting architecture, good photo opportunity! Massive space, could do with more signage. The escalators were not adequate for coping with the volume of people, long congested queues to go up them.

Conveniently near a Metro station.
