Small and very nice church beside the castle, it was Calle Madonna of the Bridge, it tasted back on the 12th century and was used for the garrisons.
It’s constituted by a presbytery and by a little opening.
Inside you can see remains of frescoes dated 16th century beautiful baroque stucco works of 17th century.

In every place i’ve been it is a must for me to enter & visit any churches or chapel & when i was in Sirmione.. To end my day i did not miss the chance to visit the chapel of Sta.Ana.It was actually a small but beautifully built.Inside you will see more of its beauty.Admiring the beauty of it while praying.Simple on the outside but once you get inside everything changes.

was there during the Christmas period, so a nice nativity scene was on display at the altar.
Very well kept, and lit. Definitely drop in.

when you exit the Rocca Scaligera ( castle)in Sirmione , and turn left , you might just see a small church , which is the Chiesetta di S. Anna , it is a quaint place of worship , about the size of a small shop .
Once you enter , you might just have your breath taken away !!.

Beautiful little Chapel. Well worth a few minutes of your time. Peaceful and tranquil, nice to get in from the maddening crowds and be thankful.

This tiny church tucked away in Sirmione centro offers a peaceful respite from the busy streets and lovely restored frescoes. It was “rebuilt” in the time of Dante: very old!

We almost missed this tiny but beautiful little church, it is situated just inside the castle gates. We waited for a car to pass, turned around and saw this perfect little church. It looks great in the daytime but shines at night time.

Easily missed, this small church, also called Madonna of the Bridge was a garrison church, with the current building dating back to the 15th century.
The simplicity of the church is broken with elaborate baroque plasterwork in the sanctuary area, while there are historic fescos on the walls and encased in the altar, such frescos being characteristic of churches in this part of Italy.
