Salvo is a great host! He made all of his guests feel very welcomed and relaxed. I planned to get engaged to my girlfriend during the trip. Salvo took care of everything, we exchanged numbers a few weeks before the trip and he helped me plan it.
On board he provides drinks and snacks, Which were top quality. I had all of my family with me, one of which was pregnant and he showed extra attention when she moved around the boat.
My trip was a sunset tour and it certainly did not disappoint! Salvo kept in regular contact two days before the trip with updates of the lake and weather conditions.
It appears quite pricey but I would definitely recommend. The general cost of things around lake Garda are fairly pricey anyway so it wasn’t really a surprise. Worth every penny! Think it worked about £37 pp for 2 and a bit hours.

My girlfriend and I booked a boat trip with Captain Salvo and it turned out to be the best thing we did in Lake Garda which is one amazing achievement on Salvo's part considering how outstanding Lake Garda is in general...
From the minute I contacted Salvo about arranging a trip, he was a gentleman and very accommodating. We originally booked a three hour trip which then turned into a day trip and the rest as they say is history! We stopped near the Caves of Catullus and went swimming and then we had a brilliant home made pasta lunch, water, wine, coffee, prosecco with strawberries, aperitif on board and more...all of it excellent.
It's the best way to spend a day and whilst anybody can rent a boat themselves or participate in a group tour - you're missing out unless you go with Salvo as he's a great man and you get excellent hospitality & a really enjoyable experience at a really great price...he could easily charge more!
When I go back to Lake Garda - I'll be calling Salvo again! Thank you Salvo, until next time...!

Had a superb two hour trip around Sirmione. My wife and I had the boat to ourselves and Salvo provided the entertainment washed down with a nice Prosecco. What a character! Great fun. Would thoroughly recommend it.

I highly recommend this boat !!!
The Captain did a great job. I and my family were fully satisfied with the service and whole trip. We took a whole day jorney and it was worth of it.
First we went for a little jorney through Garda and after we stopped near the coast to swim. After we kindly asked captain to take us to the place called Garda for a little walk. Nice place actually. After we came back for a dinner and ate a great italian pasta with prosecco.
If you are looking for a jorney on the boat this is what you need!

I booked a cruise with Salvo at Lake Garda. Already by solving the details in mail, I realised how good this is gonna be. It was an really great experience with a cool 'capitano'! We went from Sirmione harbour to Salo and had Aperitiv on board as well as home made pasta from the captain for which he anchored at a quiet bay near Isola del Garda. Amazing! Salvo is one the nicest man you can imagine, he's is taking care of everything and make sure you feel the best all the time. I had an unforgettable day and hope to be able to do it again next time I am at Lake Garda.

We travelled to Sirmione by train from Verona. We got slightly lost and Salvo kindly picked us up from port. We had a sunset tour but arrived earlier than anticipated Salvo was very flexible & off we went. We had an interesting tour around the Sirmione pensilua snacks & wine /prosseco were flowing. We would definitely go back & do a longer tour next time. Great trip Salvo thank you

If you want to feel like you own the lake and the boat that you are on then Salvo is the man.For us it was the perfect ending to a fantastic week in Italy.We took to the lake for the afternoon thinking it would be just a basic boat ride but Salvo turned it into an unforgettable romantic experience.Took his time to educate us about Sirmione and the lake in general before varnishing into the background to allow us the romantic moments as the sunset drew in. He then turning into the perfect cameraman out of his kindness and treated us to some fine wine and soft music as we watched the sun go down. With Salvo the cruise is not a job but an opportunity for him to extend his kind heart and warm personality while he masterminds a memorable experience for you, an opportunity to capture the magical views of the gorgeous lake whilst making you the star of the show. He never looked at the time as he seemed to concentrate more on our satisfaction. What a great experience and what a great guy. Worth every penny and would gladly do it again. For anyone looking to unlock the magic of the lake, let Salvo take you on it and you won't be disappointed.

I've done the similar trips in other places and countries and this one is the best so far.
The most outstanding feature is that it's only you and your family on-board. We were as family of four (kids ages 9 and 13) and for very reasonable fee it felt as private tour that the only thing our Captain Salvo is worried about is your enjoyment.
Tailor made - Salvo makes his proposition on where to go on the Lake but you can easily change the route to your desired destinations.
Conclusion - recommended, especially for families and even better if you all can swim.

I have been all over the world and had many an interesting day out- but this has been my favourite!!
Salvo is wonderful and the trip is absolutely magnificent.
Check out other boat trip prices, they are all similar but this is the one to choose.
You won't regret it- I can't tell you any more because I'm struggling to put it in to words. Just do it!!
