We visited this castle today with the kids and we were all absolutely blown away by the views all around us . The key here is that you make it to the top tower to be blown away by it all .

Unique 13th-century castle surrounded by water, with steep climbs leading to scenic lake views and great viewpoint of the town and the peninsula. Ticket includes also Grotte de Catullo ruins to the north not to be missed.

In the heart of historical Sirmione, Scagliero Castle stands proudly! Beautiful piece of history and art worth not missing it!

Wonderful views of the water and amazing to see. What a surprise to find the streets and restaurants as you walk through the main doors, could spend all day here sitting and people watching

Inexpensive and with great history and views- the castle covers the entrance to the pointiest part of the peninsula which Sirmione lies on- unequivocally worth visiting

Great castle with spectacular views across sirmione peninsula. Long queues for admission. I'd recommend going up the road to the (still long but)shorter queue at the villa ruins and buying the ticket for both. You can skip the line then!

A real gem. It’s worth the wait, whilst it’s busy it provides some amazing photos. If you’re under 25 tickets are considerable cheaper, therefore take ID. Parking in Sirmione can be an event, therefore get there early or just park on the outskirts as you’ll...More

From the top of the castle there are nice views to peninsula. Better to get there in the morning before it gets too crowded.

A very lovely little castle only let down by the lack of historical information in the form of signs / guides. A large section of the castle was shut off when we visited (April 2019), this may have been a museum area, so it may...More

I can confirm that. The combined ticket cost me 12 euros last November. You can buy the ticket at either of them.

We took the train to Densenzano. It was on a Sunday so there may be a different schedule on weekdays. Then took a taxi to the Spa. There may be public transport but can't help you on that. Definitely worth a visit!
