We arrived at 12.10pm at this beautiful vineyard and I was aware that they will close at 12.30pm. For many years I have been a big fan of the Ca dei Frati wines. Nevertheless I asked to taste two different wines and had plans to buy various wine boxes afterwards and to leave quickly. The young lady clearly told me that I can taste just one wine because it was already 12.15, even though I told her that I wanted just to try a certain wine that I do not know, buy and leave quickly. Very bad client experience, very rude und disappointing. I will never ever buy one single bottle of that wine.

Ca dei Frati Winery is definitely worth the drive! Mattia met us at the front tasting room and we spent over an hour touring their huge facility, seeing the stainless steel tank rooms, barrel rooms, production area and storage warehouse. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the grapes, wines, local area, family, and the history of the winery, willing to answer all of my questions. Then we tasted sparkling, whites, reds, and the famous Italian Amarone...AWESOME wines! They even have Grappa if you're so inclined! All were very reasonably priced for the excellent quality. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Don't miss this winery!

We didn’t do a tour and regret it. When you arrive there is a movie continuously playing. They also have each wine on display with information.
We tasted five or six and each explained and our questions answered. Price on site very reasonable.

So awaited visit. We spent half of day to get to the place. Unfortunately experience was so bad. No tour available, not many wines to try, noone willing to help in the store, unkind service. We even didnt spent there 30 min when trip took few hours, to finally get there.
Much better to buy wine in regular store, when the prices are almost the same, then going there!
Sadly sorry to say.

I went with my wife and have the chance to visit the winery (about 20 minutes) and after that we could taste several Ca Dei Frati wines (most of them white wines). The explanation and service was excellent. Very collaborative and completely at your disposal. Congratulations.

After staying in Sirmione for a couple of days and sampling some of the local sparkling wines we decided to take the short walk out to Ca dei Frati to where some of it is produced. The lady in the shop gave us several samples and was very knowledgeable about their products and needless to say we left with a number of bottles.

We got a great tour from the people working at the vineyard and afterwards we all got to try several wines. They were very generous, friendly and the tastes were amazing and the prices were good. We got to meet the owners and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend a visit to this friendly vineyard.

While in Sirmione we took the opportunity to visit the vineyard of our favourite wine from the Lake Garda region, Ca dei Frati Lugana.
We got an excellent tour of the cellars and wine production process. At the end of the tour we got to taste a selection of the wine and purchased a few bottles.
Well worth a visit.

Had a really interesting tour with Sara at Ca dei Frati. She was well informed, spoke perfect English and was let us see so many parts of the process including the bottling area. VERY generous wine tasting afterwards with sparking, rose, white, red and grappa all given even at 10.30am. In response to the previous reviewer, we had our glasses changed between “types” of wine. I’m sure if the previous reviewer had asked their glass would have been changed!!! We only encountered very friendly and helpful staff at Ca dei Frati, and were very impressed by their non pushy customer service. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Sirmione (€1 bus to stop 11 then a 20 minute walk) or south Lake Garda.

Do we need to schedule a tour. We are driving from grindelwald Switzerland today and heading toward Sirmione. We are unsure of arrival but believe we will get there mid afternoon.
