Romantic stroll on Como. You can bring your own food 9r you can eat at the two bars located near by. It has two swimming pools on site. Excellent place to ride bikes too.

Can walk there from Como center. Inside can go for free, also nice garden, but garden is quite ordinary, nothing unusual.

I spent a good two hours here wandering through the gardens, workshed and home. A lucky choice was to eat a salad lunch at the cafe, a walk to the right of the entrance after you have gone in. What with the magnificent views and...More

This is the largest villa is Como and is now open to the public, free of charge. There is no original furniture but the frescoes, glass chandeliers and other decorations give a good impression of what the villa must have been like at its peak....More

Facing the lake at the ferry station, turn left and follow the lakeside path past the Volta memorial and the seaplane hangar. The large cream-coloured villa is the main feature ahead. Entry is free and the rooms are impressive if rather bare; the tiny theatre...More

Searched Lake Como for a picnic spot as a driving break on the way between Lautebrunnen and Sirmione. Villa Olmo was the perfect spot, easy parking, brilliant sunshine, stunning villa and wonderful views. Didn't go in the villa due to previous reviews but the position...More

Visit this place with my parents. The gardens are very nice although now huge and the views over the lake are fantastic! The Italian Army is currently running an exhibition on the First World War. The house itself is free to enter and is worth...More

The villa is one of a number along the lake but the only one open to the pubic. You see a number of large, empty rooms and a large hall. The walls are superbly decorated with paintings and the ceilings are spectacular. In its day...More

This is free to enter and is worth a visit. The villa is quite impressive especially the main entrance with a galleried design over three floors with some ornate craftsmanship all round. There is not much else to see inside but you are allowed to...More

Looks impressive but not much to see. the gardens at the front are pretty but not much round the back. But this is a park and its free to visit so definitely worth a walk round (don't get into villa)

Esprit for the delay. I believe the grounds are open all year round. After reading other reviews it would seem the villa is in need of refurbishment but the grounds are beautiful
