My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our half day with Chef Luigi and our classmates (a very nice young couple on their honeymoon from the UK). As novices to Italian cooking, we learned a little about Chef's Lake Como cuisine and his passion for everything. This lesson is some participation and some demonstration. The result is a terrific lunch at... More

Luigi was fabulous; we went there as a family of 5, 2 16 y/o and a 5 year old and had a great morning with private cooking lessons. It was fun and Luigi and his family were great hosts with both Mum and Nanna involved. You can't beat making pasta, everyone gets involved and has a lot of fun. Lovely... More

Reading the great reviews on trip advisor my family and I decided to book private cooking lesson with Chef Luigi Gandola. It started off very well with Chef Luigi coming to pick us up from our hotel, showing us around his garden, us making/rolling the dough for pasta but from then on we might as well be watching Chef Luigi... We took a class with Luigi Gandola of Salice Blue Ristorante in Bellagio, Italy. The experience started with a tour of the restaurant and gardens. Next we went into the kitchen learn about the pastas. We had a wonderful lunch of gnocchi, ravioli, and amazing citrus salad and Bolognese. We were staying in Chernobbio and took the fast ferry from... More

We were recommended this cooking experience with Chief Luigi Grandola at his restaurant in Bellagio. He picked us up from the bus as we were staying in Como. A quick 10 min drive and we were having coffee and getting ready with apron on to start our course. Chief Luigi walked us through his herb garden explaining with passion his... More

I have done this cooking class twice , the chef is on TV cooking shows a bit like the Jamie Oliver for Italy , he is funny and very informative . A definite must do when visiting Bellagio .well worth the money and you get to eat the food as they serve you afterwards with wine .

We were a group of four that signed up for Chef Luigis lessons. Six others were with us. We were in the kitchen learning how to cook Italian. What fun! We learned a lot, and enjoyed chef Luigis passion for cooking and life. A once in a lifetime experience well worth the price!

If you have an interest in food or cooking, you shouldn't go past a trip to the Chef Luigi cooking class at the Salice Blu restaurant just outside Bellagio. Chef Luigi is a most interesting character, passionate about food and cooking. Chef Luigi picked us up from our Bellagio hotel and took us to his family restaurant where after a... More

First off, Luigi is quite a character (in a good way). He's oozing with culinary passion, and it's really touching to learn how much his late father influenced his obsession with food, quality, and doing things the right way. Luigi's restaurant, Salice Blu (Blue Willow), is perched high above the quaint town of Bellagio. It has amazing views. Luigi picked... More

My wife and I had an enjoyable cooking lesson with Chef Luigi. We were joined by one other person so the interaction was very comfortable and personable. We started in the morning with Chef Luigi picking us up in his van (which was very clean) and after picking up the third person and dishwasher along the way, we made it... More
